16 inches of snow in Wyoming

Here’s a live view of the Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Alta, Wyoming, which has received 16 inches (40 cm) of snow in the past 24 hours.

I thought global warming was going to destroy the skiing industry.

  1. see the snow guys? early November, by the way!

Climate’s getting colder guys. If you don’t understand this then get off my post!

  2. Also, there was a foot and a half of snow at least, I’d say more like 2 feet, in town, at Bozeman, Montana, which is on the valley floor. This time it was reverse, the mountains got less, except probably the highest peaks, which likely got more.

Sometimes, they write about storms only before they happen, like this article, so you don’t see the opposite totals for the valleys and the mountains. Tied Grand Targhee on the other side of the high Yellowstone plateau for once, for some reason, I’m not sure what it would be, sometimes the storms miss us.
