THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW… FROM 8 AM FRIDAY TO MIDNIGHT.

SNOW LEVELS…INCREASING TO AROUND 7000 FT THURS EVENING WILL DROP TO 5000 FT FRI MORNING AND TO 2000 TO 3000 FT FRI AFTERNOON.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…12 TO 18 INCHES… WITH 2 TO 3 FT POSSIBLE ABOVE 6000 FT.

SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW… WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS.

  1. So much for the claims by the global warmist nutbars that Oregon was having a dry winter due to the mythical global warming.

  2. Robert from Oregon here. We had a cool Summer and even colder Fall. We’ve had almost 2 inches of rain in 24 hours since yesterday. Although, November didn’t see much rain due to high pressure blocking the storms the humidity didn’t drop below 85% all November at my weather station. I don’t think we’ve had a dry Winter at all. I don’t blame GW or AGW for any of it. If anything we’re going into global cooling.
