Here’s a quick video that Weathernut27 put on youtube last night.
A storm of never-seen-before magnitude.


ANCHORAGE AKA RECORD SNOWFALL OF 6.1 INCH(ES) SET AT ANCHORAGE AK FOR NOVEMBER 6TH. BREAKS  OLD RECORD OF 4.1 SET IN 1946.

VALDEZ, AK … NEW RECORD OF 9.5 INCHES. BREAKS 1990 RECORD OF 8.0 INCHES.

JUNEAU AIRPORT  NEW RECORD 5.3”,   OLD RECORD 1.0” in 1984

BETHEL, AK THE 5.2 INCHES THURSDAY BROKE SNOWFALL DAILY RECORD OF 3.9 INCHES SET IN 1996.

  1. Let’s keep perspective. Snow coming into winter is normal but this much snow in Nov COULD be part of a deeper change in climate but it is not in itself a sign of anything significant.

    • And how would you know that? It is of itself a sure sign of significant things to come. Put all the super storms happening around the globe together and it paints a frightening picture of what is yet to come.

  2. This is the type of super storm predicted in “the coming global superstorm” book that the movie “the day after tomorrow” was based off of.

    The proper “perspective” is that snowfalls records were broken in multiple places. (Need we define what a ‘record’ is?) My guess is that lots more records are going to be broken as our out-of-control weather continues to worsen.

    And THAT is the correct perspective!
