Manitoba is in for a big change in the weather.
Snowfall or winter storm warnings cover much of the province’s north, with hazardous conditions expected. Environment Canada says a low pressure system is moving in from Saskatchewan, bringing widespread precipitation by Wednesday afternoon. Heavy snowfall — up to 20 centimetres — is expected in Lynn Lake, Tadoule Lake, and the Churchill region. Ice pellets and freezing rain is likely from Thompson through Gillam, Shamattawa, and York.
