Second record-breaking snowstorm in less than two weeks.
Unusually heavy late season snowfall is forecast in or near many major cities including Mason City, Sioux Falls, Bismarck, Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Grand Rapids and Detroit.
Whiteout conditions expected on Sunday for several hours. Strong winds could cause tree damage or power outages. Up to a foot of snow.
Temps in the teens could harm sensitive vegetation. 4 to 8 inches (10 to 20 cm) of heavy wet snow possible, more in some areas. Could make travel very difficult.
