Corsica – Beaches of Ajaccio covered with snow!

Not seen for at least 30 years.

On the bay of Ajaccio, nearly 15 cm (6 inches) of snow covered the sand, never seen since 1986 according to Météo France.

Known for its Mediterranean climate, Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea located southeast of the French mainland and west of the Italian Peninsula.
