Earliest snow in 30 years in Sochi, Russia

Snow fell in one of the Sochi resorts at an altitude of 2050 m (6726 ft) above sea level.

According to the local television channel sochi24.tv, the snowfall began on Saturday morning, and by the evening the snow had not melted.

Such early snow has not been observed in Sochi for 30 years.

    wont do their palm trees any good i bet

    my friend living there is even considering risking “attack roos” dropbears and spiders n snakes to visit a warmer australia;-))

  2. In the warmest year evah! Who’d have thought – oh, hang on, the Russians don’t believe so maybe that is why the snow went there.
