Early season snowfall for Labrador

An early season snowfall is forecast to bring 10 to 15 cm of snow to western and northern Labrador.

18 Oct 2016 –  Environment Canada says the snow is expected to become mixed with ice pellets and then rain overnight tonight or early Wednesday morning in western Labrador. Precipitation will taper off to flurries Wednesday afternoon.

Over northern Labrador, snow is expected to begin early Wednesday morning and persist through the day. Motorists are advised that driving conditions may become difficult in wet and heavy snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Snow is expected to become mixed with or change to rain Wednesday afternoon as temperatures rise well above freezing.
