Early snow in New York City area

Not exactly a blizzard, but Queens saw a very light sprinkle of snow last night.

However, many people north and west of New York City received enough snow to require  snow blowers yesterday morning – and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet.

Highland Parks received 6.7 inches of snow and Monroe 5 inches. Meanwhile, 4.6 inches and 4.5 inches fell on Rock Hill and West Milford respectively.

This article (link below) says the snow was early, but doesn’t specify how early.
