Snowfall summary for a few locations in southeastern Saskatchewan.

A low pressure system passing just south of the province brought snow and blowing snow to southern Saskatchewan yesterday. The southeast corner of the province was hardest hit and continues to experience heavy snow and blizzard conditions. Conditions should begin to improve Wednesday.


400 metre (0.25 mi) visibilities reported at Estevan airport between 9:00 PM Monday and 2:59 AM Tuesday. Wind speeds of up to 57 km/h gusting to 72 km/h (35.4 to 44.7 mph) were reported during this time. Snowfall totals estimated at 30 centimetres (11.8″).


Snowfall event total as of 5:00 AM was 33 centimetres (13.0″).
