“We are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business” – Hillary Clinton

Her words, not mine. See video

In March 2016, Clinton proudly declared, “we are going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

“Now, we’ve gotta move away from coal – and, all of the other fossil fuels,” she continues.

Hmmm. I wonder who you’d vote for if you were a coal miner,

I wonder who you’d vote for if you didn’t want your energy bills to shoot through the roof.

S’no more! July snowfall hits Northern N.W.T. communities
5 cm falls in Sachs Harbour; Paulatuk, Inuvik see very wet snow. It might not quite feel like a Northern Christmas in July, but some people in parts of the N.W.T. certainly aren’t welcoming the winter-like weather that’s hit their communities.
This week, snow has been falling in at least three N.W.T. communities — Sachs Harbour, Inuvik and Paulatuk.
CBC Meteorologist Ashley Brauweiler says about five centimetres fell in Sachs Harbour between Tuesday and Wednesday, breaking a new record for July 20. The last record was hit in 1966 with just 3.3 centimetres of snow.
Brauweiler says conditions could continue into Thursday, with another two to three centimetres falling in Sachs Harbour.
She says it’s all thanks to a low-pressure system that formed over the Beaufort Sea and is slowly moving east, including over Sachs Harbour.

  2. HC might want to keep her powder dry for a few years. All forms of chemical energy will be required over the next 30 years just to keep the Grid up and working, so that the economy can continue to function, and generate the taxes to pay for the socialist excesses the Democrat Gullible Warmist want to spend it on.
Excess taxing of energy, particularly the poor, won’t be forgotten. Just remember, Hitler was voted into power by a democratic vote of the German people on the simple promise of Lebensraum, very little exists to stop the conversion of the US from a failing Democracy into an Empire with rule by decree by a single individual.
History is littered with examples, with Turkey the latest to march down that road, that path is to the dark side and a new dark age on all six populated continents.

  3. Given the abundance of Coal, and the advances in pollution control technology, it makes absolutely no sense to “move away from coal, and all of the other fossil fuels.” If Hillary’s disastrous prescription were to be enacted globally, it would lead to unspeakable suffering for billions of people. All this based on an unreasonable fear of a change in atmospheric CO2 levels of an imperceptible percentage. A change that is actually benefcial for plants and therefore humans. If we should be worried about anything, we should be concerned about not letting CO2 reach the low levels at which plants can no longer function. And we should not be trying to drive CO2 levels to lower than those of today! This could have disastrous consequences.
