Heavy snow paralyzes Romania

Blizzards paralyzed traffic on highways and interurban roads in the middle of the country.

4 Dec 2016 –  The worst situation is in the central part of the country.

In Sinaia, icy and snowy roads made it impossible to drive. The surface was so slippery that drivers were not able to climb hills – cars glided along the icy road, smashing into other cars.

The police, in order to prevent further collisions, introduced a ban on driving for trucks and closed the steep streets.

This is a unique situation , I am amazed so difficult conditions, says a driver from Romania.

Very slippery surface. Numerous difficulties. Drivers powerless.
