      Iran – all of it – is not Arab and does not lie in North Africa. Much of Iran gets plenty of snow in the Winter. The province Gilan is in the north next to the Caspian sea and is famous for its mild climate – never too hot and never too cold. Hence the orchards growing citrus fruit.
