Northeast at risk for freeze – Maybe snow



Conditions more typical of early April or March for an extended period. (I assume this is caused, of course, by global warming.)

A vortex could bring unseasonably chilly conditions and frost to the northeastern US into next week, according to AccuWeather.com.

Areas at risk for a frost or freeze will extend from part of the Great Lakes region to the central Appalachians and western New England early Wednesday morning.

There us even  a chance of wet snow in the mountains of eastern New York state and western New England.

  1. I could take 12 months of weather just like this.No excessive sweating.No coat wearing in the daytime.No heat .No AC.What’s not to like?(Unless you plan on renting out a Jersey Shore house).

Actually, yes … the polar vortexdynamics and strong atmospheric mixing … caused by global warming (?); in this case, though, a global warming from the inside out; that, due to more energy in … from the sun; that, not from sunpsots … but from cyclical and large earth facing coronal holes that are sending upticks of solar energy this way?

    Energy in at the equator … for energy comes in on the solar plane path, to us, that way … from there, that energy or solar wind pushed to the poles by the planet’s magnetic field or field of polarized energy … where the planet takes energy in … i.e., at the poles; that energy is mostly radiated out at the equator, between the tropic lines … and the torus model circuit of that energy gets an uptick … so … tropic lines will start to shift to the respective poles … look for evidence of that (?); the poles will heat up from the energy intake in there … the increased energy in at the poless will push vortexes of cold air in the direction of the equator … look for evidence of that (?); the greater heat and energy out at the equator and between the tropic lines will heat the oceans … more moisture will be taken up into the atmosphere as a result … that moisture will hit colder air being pushed in the direction of the equatore from each pole … look for evidence of that (flooding, colder than normal spring times)(?); hmm …

    Ah well … perhaps not a CO2 based man made activities type of global warming … but global warming none the less?

    The warming, though, simply not homogenous at this point … yet, at least; greater atmospheric mixing, however, taking things in the direction … eventually … of homogenity?

    More energy in … to the planet, over time; expect the spin rate of the planet to increase, then, over time (?); also, time itself changing as a result; also, eventually … a righting of the present axis tilt?

    By the year 2100 … will this place even look the same? Time will tell; as they say in the that old song … perhaps … “the times, the times (or time itself) they are a changin”. 🙂

    Perhaps an Ice Age to eventually follow, though … perhaps, after most depart here?

    So, in that case … First by Fire .. Then by Ice … or something like that?

    At least as far as how things may go here on planet earth?
