Philippines – Baguio City coldest in 46 years

And the fourth coldest day in Baguio’s history.

The mercury in Baguio City dropped to 7.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, almost matching the record low of 7.1 degrees set on Jan. 9, 1971.

Wednesday was the fourth coldest day in Baguio’s history, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration. The coldest was 6.3 degrees on Jan. 18, 1961.

  1. That is cold. I use to live there and about 15c was the coldest. Baguio is at about 5000 feet. Nice weather most the year expect June-August which is mostly non stop rain with a typhoon or two thrown in.

  2. Off topic, but have you seen that glaciers are expanding in New Zealand? Of course the AGW twits think it’s ‘regional’.
