Rasmussen – 48% of Likely U.S. Voters still – STILL! – approve of President Trump’s job performance

Meanwhile, a Drudge Report headline shouts “RASMUSSEN: 43% want Trump Arrested...

Screen shot of Drudge Report headlines as of 5:10 pm today, 11 Jan 2021.

A different headline on Drudge Report asserts that Trump’s approval rating has dropped to an all-time low of 33 percent.

That sounds awful.

But maybe not. If you actually go to the Rasmussen Reports website, you find that their Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday, 11 Jan 2021, shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.

I find it hard to understand how 48 percent of voters approve of Trump’s performance, while 43 percent want him arrested.

Man, what a divided country!

Do you suppose this has anything to do with the incessant – and vicious – attack-dog media coverage?

  2. Are you from Unided States or from ‘Disunited States’?
Don’t you think it’s better to put these shameful political issues aside and try to demystify the AGW hoax!
Or please change the name of this website: Trumpresidentnow.
    Trump is a shame!

    • Trump is a sham!
      Politics is a sham.
      Democracy is a sham.
      Law courts are a sham.
Theatre and psyops, by their nature, are a sham.
Patriots and Republican conservatives were set up to out them… and (((they))) have so look out… they’ve got their information/data… and they’ll ‘get’ them one by one as req’d… conservative patriots are now considered mentally unstable, armed and dangerous… religious [compliant] conservatives are useful breeders… for now. Technological [including eugenical] might and controlled numbers are ‘right’ in the jungle and the village… not philosophical logos and reason.

We all live in a world-wide Technocracy and have for millennia already.
The military and medical and media psyop industrial complex with the largest budgets, largest psyop units, largest movie studios/deep fake technology and largest infrastructure to right-size and right [‘correct’] think the population are in control.

So I agree with Martin… it’s time to drop the political/democracy diversion psyop focus, it’s become obvious now, it’s over, and focus more on surviving this cull that is becoming evermore heavily Ice Age related. [That is this site’s forte.] Martial law is already in force ww either way… patriots shouldn’t expect any favours from military for being a patriot… most likely just the opposite. Ice Ages make wars and herd management neccessary, over and over, it’s a ‘real’ earth science cycle, there is no physical way of getting around it. The globalist highest tech ranchers have been in control for many thousands of years and the evidence is written in stone, both above and below sea-level, world-wide. There is nothing new [politically/militarily or psyops wise] under the sun happening right now. Astro/geophysics and Technocracy rule[full stop]

Climate IS a political hot button. History tells us that political upheaval and Grand Solar Minimums occur simultaneously so it’s a relevant topic while we await Thor’s hammer.

    • Martin: You’ve been following this site for years and sending me really great links, so I’m really sorry that you feel this way. I’m also sorry that this election became focused on Trump rather on whether we wanted freedom or tyranny. With Trump gone, I fear that any pretext of freedom will disappear in the U.S., and that the incoming leaders will use AGW to cramp down hard on individual freedoms and vastly cripple the U.S. economy. Nevertheless, I hope you continue sending the great links as you have in past.

  3. Okay, I will try to ‘splain this, because it stems from watching the ecohippies, who are know-it-alls about nothing, make themselves look just dumb.

Hillary didn’t win. She pandered to the lowest common denominator, and still lost, and those who supported her don’t know how to lose because they don’t compete in anything because they might lose and they don’t want to lose. So when their Goddess — er, Hillary didn’t win, that means they lost and they don’t understand why someone (her) had to lose in the first place. They don’t like competition because they might lose. They hate sports because they might lose. They will never grow up.

So along comes the Trump, who wins the game of politicking, and they threw tantrums like spoiled brats, because spoiled brats ALWAYS GET TO WIN! Now, it’s carrying over to Joey’s term, and they still want to mangle the Trump.

That’s the best I can do on that.
And here’s a bit of new: Forbes is advising op-ed companies to NOT hire people associated with Trump.

    • So along comes Biden, who wins the politicking. Trump loses, so throws a tantrum to make Hilarys look like a picnic.
The losers are now the Trump base and boy are they sore losers, the very best of all sore losers.

      • Biden didn’t win on politicking! Where have you been? He was in his basement for months leading up to the election and the few times he spoke, he often misspoke and brain-farted. But he did win the “get out to cheat” part!!

  4. From the anti-Trump news reports in South Africa and on all the international TV-channels, it’s obvious that they are operating in concert. “…, by what we shall represent as public opinion, secretly prompted by us through the means of that so-called “Great Power”-the Press, which with a few exceptions that may be disregarded, is already entirely in our hands.” (excerpt from a pre-1800 writing)

  5. We have witnessed the greatest over reaction to a virus which many who have it don’t even know it.
Over reaction and exaggeration are the new signature strategies of the deranged socialist left abetted by their propaganda mill media.
A few dozen alleged Trump supporters breaking into the capital and sitting in Nancy Pepsi’s chair posing for pictures is deemed an act of terrorism while democrat party supported BLM and antifa thugs burning down police stations, causing untold millions of dollars of damage nationwide through vandalism, launching explosives into police lines, assaulting hapless citizens, seizing control of city sectors etc,etc is deemed peaceful protest.
Lawmakers who protested the electoral college proceedings are labeled as terrorists and attempts to put them on the no fly list are underway.

  6. Well, we have sat through another period of time when they “send in the clowns” instead of function as representative government. Once again we have thrown trash on the Constitution, but why not? With every daily action, the House has proven it doesn’t “represent” the people, but instead, it represents a political party. If this “circus of clowns” did their job instead of posture, we would probably still be the greatest nation on the planet instead of the laughing stock of the Universe.

There are hardly more than a few dozen that end up in DC that seem to remember that they represent a nation first, their constituency second, and themselves and their party last. No, the House of Clowns have it backwards. It is always about Party first, themselves second, and if it happens to be good for their constituency, that’s nice. Notice that I didn’t even bother to mention the nation, because it is never a consideration, and if the nation should benefit, it was by accident.

I have had the irritation of having to see 1 impeachment threatened, forcing a resignation. I never actually took that impeachment attempt seriously because of the inclusion of “he lied to the American People” as a grounds for impeachment. There is never going to be a politician that can’t be impeached on such a vacuous grounds because there are times that a person can say something that turns out to be wrong, or was said to deflect, not to lie. If that grounds was legitimate, every President would have been impeached because when a question about national security is asked and information cannot be shared, the only way you can deflect it often ends up being a lie. Under those grounds, “I never had sex with that woman” would have bounced Clinton. And certainly Bush and Obama had their fair share of lies for whatever reason.

When the Republicans tried Clinton, there were plenty of real things that could have been used for grounds for impeachment. In the end, they backed all of the real reasons to impeach him out of the articles and did exactly what the Queen of Clowns did this past year, and proceed to a trial that would not remove Clinton from office, but left him at that time as the only President ever impeached. So the Queen of Clowns and here little troop of junior clowns impeached Trump to even the score, knowing that it, too, would fail, and this time, again, knowing that it will not happen, she did again “to make Trump the only 2 times impeached President in history.”

In other words, the Queen of Clowns didn’t impeach Trump for any legitimate charge, but just to “make a political statement.” Knowing that the Senate would not reassemble to carry on the trial, she went through the sham proceedings for “political goods.” How freaking childish and ignorant. And all the little troop of clowns that went along with it are just as childish and ignorant.

If we had an educated and concerned citizenry, there would not be a single one of those clowns returned to congress in the next election cycle. We don’t need vindictive, little childish clowns playing politics, we need serious Representatives, concerned with making and keeping this nation great by passing appropriate legislation and budgets that support a free Republic, insuring our freedoms such as the right to bear arms and freedom of speech.

And to protect us from foreign and domestic terrorists, such as tech companies that destroy the lives of ordinary people, and not BE the domestic terrorists they have sworn to defend us from by their oath of office.

To all of those that will think this comment is about Trump, it’s not. It’s about the United States Constitution and the republic that it created, what it was, where it is, and where it is going.

Thanks, Robert, for a great site where issues that matter are discussed. What happens to the climate won’t matter if we don’t have a viable nation.

  7. Ah excuse me BUTttt……

Has anyone noticed the pics being shown on the media of our National Guard sleeping in the Capital in DC? Firstly they are sleeping on the floor & I’m wondering why the Dudley Dorights in Congress don’t provide them with cots or at least padding to sleep on. Maybe a wool blanket? I guess that’s gratitude.

Also, apparently COVID-19 is avoiding the lobbies and basements in the Capital where the troops are sleeping because they do not appear to be spread out 6 feet apart and, in fact, some of them are sleeping right up next to each other. So what happened to the social distancing in this case? However, just to be fair, I do notice most (but not all) are wearing masks.

So, why do we keep getting handed examples of the “elites” in our nation not following the COVID recommendations to “stop the spread” with the latest example being the troops in the Capital? I suppose that COVID likely entered into some kind of negotiation with Pelosi and COVID agreed not to invade the building for the time being, right? WOW! Surely I’ve been right! COVID IS an intelligent alien lifeform.
