Romney waffles – Reverses global warming view – Maybe

24 Aug 11 – Romney now says: ‘I don’t know if it’s mostly caused by humans.’

Hours after being called “mushy on environmental issues” by Republican Senator James Inhofe, Mitt Romney has tweaked his position on global warming.

Asked Wednesday at a New Hampshire town hall meeting whether he believed in global warming and if humans contribute to rising temperatures, Romney said he doesn’t know.

‘What I’m not willing to do is spend trillions of dollars on something I don’t know the answer to,’ said Romney.

However, just two months ago Romney was playing to the other side of the aisle. “I think it’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and global warming that you’re seeing,” Romney said on June 3 in Manchester.

  1. ugh ugh puke on these Republican and Democrat liars – all of them ! I do not want to hear a syllable FROM ANY of these politicians EVER again as long as I live in this country ! I doubt very much any of them will change direction for the better – it’s BS – they’re out to get your vote ! The best thing to do is try another nation, like Argentina or Australia or something. Politicians – I hate all of them. The second any of them come on TV , radio o what have you, I turn it off immediately. They are all a waste of time and energy.

  2. I’m familiar with Governor Romney. Never much cared for him because he firmly believes whatever the wind indicates on that particular day. But if it’s a choice between him or Reich Perry, I’ll take the Mittens.
