Russia – Blizzard leaves 39 settlements without power

Residents complain of fallen poles, roofs ripped off and other damage.
26 Mar 2016 – Tonight in the Sverdlovsk region a blizzard with wind gusts of up to 25 meters per second cut electricity to 39 settlements located in 17 municipalities.

Descriptions on social media tell of torn off roofs, falling poles, fences and so on. In some cities thunder and lightning was observed.

“The feeling that the end of the world”, – wrote online users KLA night. “The wind is howling, tree bends to the ground.
