Shaking, Quaking, and Freezing

AA - Obama Says Planet is Warming

By Alan Caruba

Have you noticed how much earthquake and volcanic activity has been occurring lately?

There was a major earthquake in Napa, California on Sunday, August 24th as well as considerable volcanic activity from Iceland to Papua, New Guinea. August was also a month that set records for colder U.S. temperatures.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), there were some 1,097 “low max” temperature records broken in the U.S. between August 1 and August 23, meaning that the maximum temperature during that time period was the lowest it has ever been. NOAA reported that summer across much of the U.S. has been colder than normal.

Most of us, after decades of global warming predictions that became more and more absurd, rising sea levels drowning Manhattan and Miami, an upsurge in hurricanes, forest fires, and every other calamity, have concluded that none of these things have happened in the volume or intensity predicted. In the 70s we were told the Earth would get colder. In the 80’s and 90’s we were told it would get warmer.

A new book is advising us to prepare for a serious cold spell that is not only going to arrive in twenty to thirty years, but will likely stay around to become the next ice age. This time, though, the prediction is based on well-established climate cycles and the behavior of the Sun that was known as far back as Galileo’s day.

The new “normal” is colder weather and this is because the Sun’s sunspot activity has been in a cyclical decline since about 1998, producing the latest cooling cycle for the Earth.

Dark WinterIn combination with the earthquakes and volcanic activity, says John L. Casey’s new book, “Dark Winter: How the Sun is Causing a 30-Year Cold Spell” what we’re really looking at is a repeat of the Dalton Minimum, a solar sunspot minimum that occurred between 1793 and 1830. His earlier book, “Cold Sun” addressed this cyclical phenomenon.

Casey asks “Will we also experience volcanic activity that will add to the solar cooling?” and the answer, given the fifty active volcanoes around the world, is that “We should expect to deal with multiple geological disasters, including volcanoes and earthquakes, during the next solar hibernation.” We have in fact already entered that “hibernation.”

Casey is the president of the Space and Science Research Corporation. It specializes in independent research regarding the coming decades of cold weather. For thirty-five years Casey has been active in science and high tech industries. He has been a national space policy advisor to the White House and Congress, and a former space shuttle engineer, consultant to NASA headquarters.

Casey has formulated a “Bicentennial Cycle of 206 years correlated with near 100 percent accuracy to every major cold-temperature period of the past 1,200 years.” His Theory of “Relational Cycles of Solar Activity” accounts for its effects and those of other solar cycles.

He is not the first scientist to recognize the relationship of diminished sunspot activity and cooling cycles, but he is the first to have synthesized the earlier work of others who made comparable observations. His Relational Cycles theory, however, is more specific than preceding ones, pegging the arrival of significant global cold climate to begin as early as 2024 or as late as 2036. “My math says 2031” says Casey.

Casey’s book is a prediction of a coming ice age that will have devastating effects for all life on Earth, but my readers know I have been writing about this for several years based on Robert W. Felix’s book, “Not By Fire, But By Ice” ($15.95, Sugarhouse Publishing, Bellevue, WA). I have frequently referenced his website, for its daily updates on cold weather events, records established and broken, and reports on volcanic and earthquake activity around the world.

Before I proceed, the reader should contemplate the fact that not one single child entering or returning to school this year has ever lived in a period of “global warming.” The cooling cycle began around 1997.

You do not need to be a meteorologist to know nothing humans do affects or alters the weather. The claim that “greenhouse gases” such as carbon dioxide are making the Earth warmer is false.

We have been experiencing this as the Earth has cooled, along with increased volcanic activity and earthquakes, and yet on September 23rd the United Nations will hold a “Climate Change Summit” that will be attended by more than a hundred of the world’s presidents and prime ministers. They will continue the greatest international scientific fraud ever perpetrated.

Despite the cooling cycle that is occurring and which will grow in intensity, the U.S. government has devoted billions to global warming research and, as Casey notes, “not one research dollar has been dedicated to the science and planning needed for the United Sates to be prepared for the only climate change that we can expect—a long and potentially dangerous cold climate!”

The U.S. is not taking the steps necessary for the cold that is coming. It has not only failed to encourage the use of our multi-generational reserves of coal, the Obama administration has declared “war” on it, putting several hundred plants out of business, reducing the amount of electricity the nation needs now and will require. Power plants and refineries cannot be built overnight and the lack of them will severely impact our lives and the economy.

Despite thousands of miles of pipelines that safely distribute oil and natural gas, Obama has refused to permit a new one, Keystone XL, for oil to be shipped to gulf state refineries from Canada. Railroad cars needed to transport food crops in a timely manner are being diverted to transport oil. No new nuclear plants are being built on a scale that will be needed. The “grid” that distributes electricity nationwide is in vital need of repair and expansion.

Cold weather will reduce the amount of crops needed to feed the nation’s human population and the stocks of cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens upon which we depend. This will happen here and worldwide. Famine will be rampant. In countless ways ours and worldwide societies that depend on all manner of technology will be impacted.

Nations and people will fail to prepare for what is coming because (1) they have been deceived by the global warming hoax and (2) we will be leaving behind one of the longest climate cycles other than an ice age, the interglacial warm period. Casey notes that “For the past 11,000 years, we have been living in one of these rare interglacial periods, called the Holocene warm period.”

What we call civilization is the result of the Holocene warm period and, without it, civilization and a global population nearing or surpassing eight billion will be largely decimated as the next, entirely predictable, ice age occurs.

  1. What we call civilization is the result of the Holocene warm period and, without it, civilization and a global population nearing or surpassing eight billion will be largely decimated as the next, entirely predictable, ice age occurs.

What IF the government does know this and are preparing for a reduced food supply by inciting war around the planet. Both Obama and Kerry have repeatedly publicly stated Climate Change is the world’s greatest threat to stability. What IF they know Climate Change is NOT AGW but global cooling? John Holdren, Obama’s Science Advisor is among a group of people who believes the world’s sustainable population is less than one billion. What IF Obama’s inaction on dealing with ISIS and Russia is an act to bait or draw out aggressive responses to start a World War?

    • That is a good hypothesis you have. But I really think Obama is just using anything to destroy America…it is against his religion of islam.

    • curiously last years bilderberg gabfest had Cooling as one of their it isnt what IF?
      they do know.
however the fate of the masses, apart from the consumption of their wares and being a source of revenue for them while we’re alive is all they give a damn about.
even as we begin to die off they will profit and funerals are big revenue raisers too you know:-)
the gullible sheeple will continue to blindly follow the foxes leading them.
      some of us wont
and we wont be “popular” 🙂

      • Have at least 3 at last count laser’s positioned around the globe which already can do the same thing.
        That’s just the U.S..
Reports read that they can melt through 30′ of concrete in less that 1 second.
        Talk about a bunker buster!!

    • If government is arranging all these wars and plagues and there is good evidence for it then by definition government and the people behind it are diabolical criminals and enemies of humanity. That implies that there must be war in order to destroy these wicked criminals and or bring them all to justice. Either the bad guys get their war to get rid of us or we wind up in a war to get rid of them for their crimes against us. Either way you get war.

      • Do believe that the sword shall be given all during the new age(aquarius, new beginning,enlightenment,awaking,etc.).

Yep I agree with you Steven that this will be a very, very long struggle.
        :{ !!

    • What IF they know? Of course they know. so does all the other supposed buffoons pushing global warming. Consider where Gore, as an example has purchased houses. Has he bought any in Montana? Not to my knowledge, but he has bought coastal villas in California and Spain. If you look at the last ice age map, you will notice that neither area was troubled by ice.

Those in control – the wealthy, for the most part – know that cold is coming. They intend to use the lack of electricity for heat and available land for farming to either freeze or starve to death the poor, the infirm, and the old – unless, of course, that might be them.

Yes, the rulers know, and their wholly owned governments know, that cold is on it’s way, and it will do a far better job at eliminating people than wars will. The wars are mostly to keep your eyes off the true climate change to the cold side. If people knew what lay ahead, they might revolt and force governments to work towards preparing for probably centuries of cold that will turn only the southern parts of the US into farmable land.

  2. The past winter was most likely the tip of the ICE BURG. If Casey’s predictions are correct there will be much suffering, as the energy will not be available for all to stay warm.
Regardless of anyone’s predictions…Historical evidence shows that the planet goes through warm & cold cycles and we are at the end of the interglacial period.

  3. For those who still remember lines by old poets:
“Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May.”

  4. Robert change of subject them fissures which is erupting in Iceland next to bardarbunga volcano now your very smart man work this one out or anyone else the lava fields there is releasing 20.000 tons of sulfur per day and is expected to last weeks even months how much of that sulfur would start having its effects on weather patterns and climate in the northern hemisphere bringing on volcanic winters because why I’m asking this is adding the other eruptions around the world and low solar output would you think we not need to wait to long before we see these changes

    • See if I can help william?
Remember my first trip to the Grand Canyon, Had poster-boards up stating that the pollution of man made so2 and other sulfurs were eroding the beauty of the canyon and painted desert(started my examination of said effects years ago).
I concluded after years of studying the then not so politically correct warm-mongers, it was not made made but due the acid rains created from expulsions of ice age’s. The heavier compounds of sulfur does not reach higher elevation(understandable), but will get absorbed into the lower cloud formations and released through rain into the oceans and land, creating a discoloring of the landscape over time. The oceans will absorb the sulfur as well, and thus again being heavier will reside into the thermal layers giving the ph of oceans.
Beyond that it becomes really detailed!

      Hope it helped.

      See ya

  5. That would make sense dscott….but this isn’t just a play by Obama and Kerry…this is something the elite has known for a long time…the stated goal of the club of Rome is to get the population under one billion to “sustainable” levels….how do you do it? First is that you lie about climatic changes and manipulate data so others won’t figure this out until its too late…check….next you fluoridate the water supply and spray aerosols containing lithium to make the population complacent….. You keep everyone divided by setting up race riots in the US so people’s attention isn’t on the climate changes that only weather geeks have seem to notice….now is the time the government would be working toward sustainability of the rich so you raise utilities to where power is now a luxury….you also raise prices on everything else while keeping wages stagnant… to the middle east…one of the great oil reserves in the world (Russia and canada are comparable)… Is North America or Asia going to have a leg up on everyone when cooling commences? Let’s have a grand war kill off a useless billion people that we have to do anyway and find out….so that’s where we are at…we are at a soft kill stage (why you think they haven’t made public the cure for cancer or AIDS…don’t think there’s a cure for AIDS I got two words for you Magic Johnson)

    • Study Albert Pike.
He lays out the events happening today.

However, do not believe it will as they hoped eh.

  6. Well fair enough, but like AGW proponents all this is going to come to pass after the those who predicted it will not be around to be held to scrutiny.

  7. People living in the city of Yekaterinburg (Russia) have found a new tombstone in the Historical Park. The inscription marks the death of the Yekaterinburg summer 2014. Already the first flowers have been placed. It is unknown who placed this monument, but it seems clear seems why he did it. People want to remember the coldest summer in the last hundred years in this city and this region. Hurricanes, fallen trees, flooded streets and extensive rain make this a summer to remember. The apotheosis of this kind of weather was the July snowfall in Kachnakar, located about two hundred and fifty kilometers from the capital of the Urals.

  8. ” No new nuclear plants are being built on a scale that will be needed.”

Nor should they be, at least not like the ones we have now. They are planet killers. The Chinese are investing in Thorium nuclear power. There is enough Thorium in sea water to power the whole planet for billions of years. Trouble is you can’t make bombs out of it, hence it got dropped by the Western world. Must have our bombs.

We. the West, should be investing in Thorium power stations. If someone was to build one people would soon see this is the way to go. No risk, it even eats radioactive waste!

    • Hey David,
      Listen to;

We have technologies out there that will knock your socks off.

A very telling interview. If you do not like the entire content just go to near the end and get his statement on government controlled free energy.

    • Note that “the ones that we have now” were built 40 years ago. We have new plants that could survive a no coolant situation. Some designs don’t even need coolant and generate electricity directly without the use of a boiler.

The problem is the Eco nuts who really don’t want any energy protest any time someone wants to build a new plant – so we end up with the relatively unsafe plants – whose lives are being extended because there are no alternatives (can’t do coal either, right) without freebies the Fukashima reactors would have been replaced years ago and we wouldnt have had the leaks.

Note that the first billion years of earths history natural reactors, where uranium concentrations were large enough dotted the earth.

  9. I think everyone is getting a little over wrought on the prospects of a some cooling. Extrapolating back 200 years and predicting the weather will have the same affect on agricultural productivity is absurd. For instance, we’ve had a couple of late spring chills and cold rain that pushed plating out a couple of weeks. A couple hundred years ago, it probably took several weeks to plant the crop and the crop planted last might not mature. Today’s highly mechanized agriculture with GPS allows farmers to wait out the weather longer and then plant everything in a few days. Long range weather forecasts are better so you can plant to avoid a killing frost. (Orchards don’t have this luxury however.) And seeds can be optimized for the expected weather. We live in a different age and I suspect modern, highly mechanized farmers will be pretty good at adapting to what mother nature throws their way.

    • Not to mention if we had to massive greenhouses can be built….its going to have to get extremely brutal to kill off people…we are just aware off too many ways in which agriculture has been improved upon in 400 years…I mean if things got really tight wouldn’t you convert your basement or garage into a home for fragile plants before you can plant them outside safely…I know that’s my plan…buy as much seed as I can now save the seeds and when things get difficult I can get to work….buy artificial solar lights for ya basement

    • What the heck do you expect?

      1. We are at the peak of the Modern Warm period.

      2. We have modern hybrid crops.

      3. We have modern irrigation

      4. We have modern testing and soil fertilization.

      5. We have modern pesticides.

      6. We have modern herbicides.

      7. We have CO2 fertilization.

(And Yes, I farm as well as being a chemist.)

  10. At the moment, we seem to be facing a conundrum. World wheat and corn production is up from last year.

It is hard to convince anyone food production is down if they look at world production. Just as the global warming enthusiasts are lossing ground because their dire forecast of the future has not been accurate, the same willbe the fate of those pushing the opposite view. Even though California is in a drought, world fruit and vegetable production seems to be doing fine.

There seems to be no smoking gun for either perspective. Too many people may bring everything down, but that is not caused by warming or cooling. Just human stupidity and blind adherence to religious tests that have been altered so many times as to be meaningless in terms of forecasting.

    • When you say corn production is up, is it edible corn? Or does it include corn used for ethanol production?

The price of food has been increased by the displacement of crop land for non food corn for ethanol.

      • Not the issue. If food supplies are dwindling for whatever reason, it should be easy enough to get the data. No need to come up with doomesday forecasts that fail just as warmist do.

Sometimes it seems who can come up with the scariest scenarios gets to sell more books.

Food is increasing in cost because the clown in the Federal Reserve have rendered the dollar less valuable. Check the value of $1 from 2000 to now. You want to see how you have been turned into a WAGE SLAVE do the comparison from 1995 to now. You will freak if you do 1980 to now. The disaster is a gov’t that is pumping out printed dollars and lying to the public.

        • It may not be as easy to get the data as one would think.

          1974 CIA report:
“A Study of Climatological Research as it Pertains to Intelligence Problems”

“… Since 1972 the grain crisis has intensified…. Since 1969 the storage of grain has decreased from 600 million metric tons to less than 100 million metric tons – a 30 day supply… many governments have gone to great lengths to hide their agricultural predicaments from other countries as well as from their own people…

          pg 9
The archaeologists and climatotologists document a rather grim history… There is considerable evidence that these empires may not have been undone by barbarian invaders but by climatic change…. has tied several of these declines to specific global cool periods, major and minor, that affected global atmospheric circulation and brought wave upon wave of drought to formerly rich agricultural lands….

  11. All you guys give these mendacious boobs way, way too much credit for being soooooo clever & manipulative.

The simple fact is guys like Gore, Mann, Bradley, Hughes, et al are just hucksters….operating on a “real time basis” (i.e. “gotta make hay while the sun shines”) …no pun intended.

They know the DC crowd is always on the lookout for the next “big spin”. If you don’t believe me, read Leibovich’s book (quickly buried), ‘This Town’. The reality of their AGW or even cooling omniscience is quickly shown to be shallow, parasitic, and instantly self-serving. And that is what’s truly frightening….i.e. when TSHTF, our “leaders” will be effin’ clueless!

    • The US government back in 1996 got rid of the US strategic grain reserves. This played a huge part in the 2008 food crisis where there were riots in 60 countries. The USDA even said “The Cupboard is bare”

      What was the Response?

In summary, we have record low grain inventories globally as we move into a new crop year. We have demand growing strongly. Which means that going forward even small crop failures are going to drive grain prices to record levels. As an investor, we continue to find these long term trends…very attractive.” Food shortfalls predicted: 2008

Recently there have been increased calls for the development of a U.S. or international grain reserve to provide priority access to food supplies for Humanitarian needs. The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) strongly advise against this concept..Stock reserves have a documented depressing effect on prices… and resulted in less aggressive market bidding for the grains. July 22, 2008 letter to President Bush

We still do not have a strategic grain reserve.

Read The WTO and the Politics of GMO and also read this well researched Article. on the history of the planned destruction of the US independent farmer. The Committee on Economic Development won the final battle when The Food Safety Modernization Act turned control of US farms over to the World Trade Organization. Now the international Ag cartel has control over the tomato plant on your back patio

In my state, North Carolina, the CED at the local university convinced the state to raise the minimum standard for the tax classification of a farm from $1,000 to $10,000 sold. This knocks over 1/2 of US farmers out of a tax sheltered category. Of the 2,128,982 US farms, 1,263,052 (more than half) make less than the $10,000 per year threshold. That means small farmers property taxes just went to the tax rate for house lots!

A friend had this done to her and the tax increase was enormous. While farmland may sell for $500- $5,000 an acre “house lots” can go from $10,00 an acre to $100,000 or more per acre and you are at the mercy of a tax hungry bureaucrat for the evaluation. Donna was unlucky and her farm was valued as one acre house lots based on the plan the developer who wanted the farm drew up. She had to sell under duress (low price) or lose the land since she could not possibly pay the new tax rate on a nurse’s aid salary.

Do not forget the ultimate goal of the UN is complet control of ALL land (look up the Biodiversity Treaty and Wildlands Map) and the herding of the Great Unwashed into Transit Villages.

  12. No, I have to disagree. The threat to agriculture could hardly be overstated. Crops of winter wheat as far south as Oklahoma can easily be destroyed by a cold, wet spring. There is not much these farmers could do less than to just quit planting. These weather events can’t be forecasted, short of getting on the cooling bus as a believer, and “adapting” generally means packing up and retiring.

    • Farmers are not stupid. The know Bovine Feces when they see it.

There are honest long range weather forecasters out there like Joe Bastardi, Joe D’Aleo, and Piers Corbyn.

Heck you can just pay attention to the weather maps and ignore the idiot remarks of people Like Jeff Masters. That is what I do although I raise sheep and goats not crops.

  13. My thoughts are that society will (in fact it is noticing) that things are not going as predicted by war mists 🙂 and that will trigger the change towards the consciousness of the new situation: cold.
Thank you Robert for the site and the good job.
wondering if I can buy the book from bookstore in Barcelona?

  14. More than 53 tonnes of fish wash ashore at Cajititlan, Mexico.

    4th this year.

Hmm, Fukishima radiation making it’s way around the bend!!

    • This could be a good thing. Think about it, we can reduce our carbon footprints by eating the fish. The radioactive glow will reduce our need for lighting. And, if you die from the radiation, you get cremated and your remains become forever on light bulbs.

      • Do believe that the half life of cesium 131 is 30,000 years. LOL
Considering how inefficient Nuke plants are one must discern WHY do we still have them.
Point in fact; the grade of uranium at said plant was on the open market to the highest bidder, very volatile high grade material, stored at elevated chambers. If memory serves me correctly most went to India.
Guess the plants can be to toxic if the industry is making profit off of our sickness.
Do you have stock in these corporations Gale? Just wondering?

        • NKH WORLD, APR 13, 2014
8.80 trillion Bq of cesium in building’s basements, according to data released publicly by TEPCO.
Hmm where is the half life??

        • I live close enough to a nuclear plant that I can see it out my window.

And no I have no stock that isn’t livestock.

          • Ok.
In a controlled nuclear medical facility they say that 131 with the help of iodine can give a half life of minimal days.
The Fukishima plant had(has) centifuges which spun would spin out and upgrade at various stages to upgrade the u231 to the highest level of plutonium(very toxic). That is why the elevated holding platforms were designed, not because of disposal purposes, but for marketing!!
Chernobyl was the first incident of a 131 accident. No human will be living there for a very, very long time.
Hopefully you live next to a facility which does not turn out weapons grade material to the HIGHEST BIDDER.

  15. “We need not wait until 2030 to see whether the forecast of the next deep Gleissberg minimum is correct. A declining trend in solar activity and global temperature should become manifest long before the deepest point in the development. The current 11-year sunspot cycle 23 with its considerably weaker activity seems to be a first indication of the new trend, especially as it was predicted on the basis of solar motion cycles two decades ago. As to temperature, only El Niño periods should interrupt the downward trend, but even El Niños should become less frequent and strong. The outcome of this further long-range climate forecast solely based on solar activity may be considered to be a touchstone of the IPCC’s hypothesis of man-made global warming.”

Dr. Theodor Landscheidt died in 2004 so this piece is more than 10 years old.

Based on solar cycle theory he predicted a cold period for around 2030.

As he said – we needn’t wait till then to see if it is really going to become colder – I think it is fair to say that anyone who is honest must admit it appears likely declining solar activity is already showing us what will happen in the next few decades if the next solar cycle declines as the previous and current cycles have.

  16. Why not face reality. We are still in the so-called “last” ice age. Massive glaciers in both the southern and northern hemispheres have been there throughout all of recorded history.

Roughly 30k years ago, a continued warming happened. And circa 12k years ago, a further continued warming happened. But still to this day the massive glaciers exist. This means by definition that we are still in the last ice age.

Geologists, anthropologists and astrophysicists ( most particularly the solar theorists ) cannot predict what the future holds.

Most especially in regard to whether we’ll continue to stay in this long term holding pattern.

Or whether their will be further warming which brings us finally out of the ice age.

Or whether this warming is only temporary from which we will plunge headlong back into the depths of the ice age.

    But nay the lees,
we will continue the idiocy of
ghe, aagw and climate change by jerks who know nothing because it is so politically expedient.

    • I suggest you read my comment on the last thread (If it ever gets out of moderation.)

We can make a pretty good guess of what is going to happen going forward and it ain’t going to be CAGW.

If we are very very lucky we get a repeat of MIS-11 but the climate between peak insolations was a really wild ride so the politicians are STILL doing the exact opposite of what SHOULD be done for the general population — Providing a good firm infrastructure, food stores and cheap reliable energy.

That makes them Idiots or EVIL, I vote for EVIL.

      • I agree but in a different way and reason.

I want to know why nobody wants to admit that what we live on is an essentially cold planet. More than half the earth’s land area is not arable. And not so because of excessive heat, drought and desertification.

It is not arable because it’s too damn cold and has been for more than 100k years.

  17. We don’t need to worry about how cold it’s getting, NOAA will “Homogenize” (New Government wonk term for cooking the books)their records to make it warmer.

    • And as a result of NOAAs (and Jeff Masters) instantaneously ‘adjusted’ data I had several inches of ice on my stock tanks in above freezing weather and snow in my fields when the weather station nearby reported temps above freezing and rain – Yeah Sure.

I called Masters on it so he CHANGED the data from rain to 0.37 inches of snow.

It is the first time I realized my ankle bone was only 0.37 inches above the ground. I could swear it measures four inches above the ground… in slippers not boots… Oh that must be the problem. I didn’t make the ‘proper adjustments’ for the change in footwear (snicker)

  18. I have not read John Casey’s books, both his new one or Cold Sun, it’s on my list. As a concerned reader/researcher with an interest in our changing climate (I’m no scientist), it’s my obligation to perform my own study and hypothesize based on evidence. One part of this is to discern between fact, bias, opinion, and alarmism.

From panel 10, ICCC9 Conference in Las Vegas, July 2014:

During the Q&A session an audience member asked:

(the Full videos have been broken up into 15 minute segments and posted on Youtube. Regrettably the Q&A sessions have been cut out).

“Some of the global warming scientists are saying that there’s going to be a change, that warming is going to start increasing possibly next year or by 2020. Is there any plausible evidence pointing towards that idea and how long do you foresee from your research of the global cooling continuing or even deepening?”

Howard Hayden, PhD (you can look up Mr. Hayden’s credentials on the Heartland Website):

“I think Woody Allen said it best, prediction is very hard, especially when it involves the future.

I am certainly not one in a position to make predictions about future weather, I mean a day or two maybe, the joke can go a little bit farther than that, but…(pause)

I think that’s rather dicey territory to get into.”

Who benefits from Climate Alarmism, by Ron Arnold, also from ICCC9 event. A 12 minute video on how global warming became such a formidable power.

So back to study and discovery, thanks Robert for what you do and allowing me the space.

  19. An Update:

I forgot to post comments by Dr. Fred Goldberg of the same question above, from the iccc9 conference. I also managed to find the Panel 10 Q&A session posted on youtube.

Dr. Fred Goldberg, response to the above question:

“Professor Abdussamatov showed us a lot of solar physics, and being acquainted with the different solar cycles I think you can do a fairly good prediction of what the future looks like and that is what he showed and what I showed in my talk.”

    Dr. Fred Goldberg’s presentation:

    Professor Abdussamatov’s presentation:

Professor (Dr.) Abdussamatov’s presentation was difficult to follow, to quote a Star trek phrase, “I’m like a caveman confronted with a triquarter.” What I was able to gather, perhaps, from this Russian scientist, is that where we are headed
    is not good.

    Panel 10 Q&A, about 15 minutes
