  1. How are we having snow in the USA in the middle of May, 1-2 foot in the Rockies, and CNN can post that April was the hottest April on record. The article also says that they only compare to years 1951-1980 as a baseline, since when did this happen? Didn’t they only just start using sea temperatures in the last few years as a measure for so called ‘global warming’? If so, how can they compare them to measures from the 50s?

  2. I live half way between Denver and Boulder. Weather like this is not unusual this time of year. It’s raining down here, we are at 5000 ft, in the higher mountains we would expect snow!

    • Well, I live in northern NM and it snowed on my birthday in May for the first time in a very long time….

  3. It won’t be very long now until we wake up, or not wake up, to 9 stories of snow per day!

    • Standard BBC warmist propaganda. Lying by omission in not explaining the effect of the strongest El Nino since 1998. The honest and reliable sat temp records show the warming but just be patient and wait for the La Nina to kick in. Then they will be struggling to fiddle the data to cover it up. From my part of England it was NOT the warmest April evah. We had heavy frosts towards the end that has damaged plants.

    • I saw that one myself and thought the same thing.

I’ve been trying to talk a friend into at least looking at this website … no luck so far. She keeps spewing out garbage she reads on Huffington Post or something as “evidence” of AGW.

  4. Serbia: May snow defies the calendar and plantations
Monday, May 16, 2016. With video.
The snow that fell during the night in some municipalities of western Serbia, Ivanjica and Prijepolje destroyed large areas under raspberries. For raspberries, from the beginning of the growing conditions were not favorable, due to frequent and heavy rains, a new snow has been further damaged seedlings. In more than 10 villages have counted on field crops.
Listar on raspberry plantations are not withstand the weight of snow in the mountainous region of Ivanjica municipality fell more than eight hours. Raspberries in bloom covered the snow cover of almost 10 centimeters.
“We have 70 percent of the damage. I have raspberries half hectares, Meeker, you villas. I have Polke 16 acres, that’s all wrecked,” says Zoran Ćeriman of Covilha.
And the plantations Sinisa Bojovića remained only a desert.

Reader’s comment: This news is not mentioned by Dutch MSM, but each wildfire in Australia is headline news and said to be caused by global warming.

  5. “Perfect”, just in time for [April 2016, coldest April on record (Today from “nut-job” The Guardian???)] ? ! ?

Only those who have sold their soul would work for the Guardian, they know that they’re lying, but they “love” the lie !

And they celebrate the lies, and probably praise and sing dark songs to them, in a religious facility, but it is still a very “dark” place!!!

The only “warm” place is their final resting place, but the problem is that know one ever rests there !

It is amazing that some believe that they will live forever, and never have to answer to anyone, at any “time” ???

    What a pathetic existence

    • The Left lives in lies and when confronted by reality becomes petulant or angry. Eventually hostile.

  6. and snow was supposed to be a thing of the past in winter by now?? Mind you, this is the middle of May!
The next ice age is much closer than most people think.

  7. Looks like we are at the end of the warming, so we should see an end to the lies of “warmest ever.”

Instead, we can expect lies of “CO2 produces greatest cooling ever.”

  8. Above 11,000ft it’s probably a good thing it’s falling as snow – having a steady melt of high level snow pack is vital in regions with summer drought……..

  9. Confusing, here is what they are saying over at the weather channel, warmest year ever, also wettest ever. https://weather.com/news/climate/news/record-warmest-winter-us-2015-2016

I have lived at 9000′ in central colorado rockies since 1991. There is nothing unsual about snow this time of year, endless snow every day. Then some years it goes dry and its warm dry and rather breezy. What was weird was this winter the river at Almont froze due to persistently low temps, highs stayed before 32 for about 2 weeks. The river froze then burst then froze then burst again. no damage to property. My neighbor, old man Pauly grew up on that river at Almont and said he’d never heard or seen that happen, or either the 6′ walls of ice along the banks.
