Snowfall forecast tonight in Belgium

Sunday 17 Nov 2019 – Winter won’t officially begin for more than a month, but a white coat will cover the Hautes-Fagnes in the coming hours  south of the Sambre-et-Meuse valley and continuing Monday all day.

At around 400 meters altitude,  says Pascal Mormal, a meteorologist at the IRM, the snow will accumulate to a depth of 2 to 5 centimeters Monday night.  And at higher altitudes, the layer will be larger. “At 500-600 meters, we can expect 10 centimeters, even 14 or 15 according to some patterns!”
