    • no, it is pretty normal, but the islands stretch about 1000 mi?(or is it kilometers) North to South, from sub-tropical Okinawa to the Siberian-like northern island.

  1. they seem to have the odd bout of deep snows i gather
    else why would they have such a nifty remover;-)
    reminded me of the old steamtrains with the “cowcatcher” front that doubled for snow removal too.
