Warmth is no Worry but Cold Kills

Failed crops and famine stalked Europe, Asia and America

It was ice, not global warming, that killed and entombed millions of mammoths and woolly rhinos in Siberia and Alaska.

It was unrelenting cold and then ice, not global warming, that forced the Vikings out of Greenland.

It was bitter winters, not heat waves, that finally defeated the armies of Napoleon and Hitler in Russia. George Washington’s army also suffered from an unusually bitter winter at Valley Forge in 1778, in the depths of the Little Ice Age.

Snowy blizzards periodically kill more cattle than heatwaves in Colorado, South Dakota and Texas.

When the Tambora volcano exploded in 1816 it spewed massive volumes of ash and “greenhouse” gases including carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. There was no global warming from the greenhouse gases, but the heat-blocking ash-filled atmosphere and a quiet sun caused “the year without a summer”. Failed crops and famine stalked Europe, Asia and America.

It is icebergs, not warm oceans, that sink ships like the Titanic, and spreading sea ice trapped “The Ship of Fools” in Antarctica.

Every major geological era has ended with massive volcanism on land and under the seas. Molten lava heats the seas and eruptions on land fill the atmosphere with dust which blocks incoming solar energy. There is rapid evaporation from the warm seas followed by rapid condensation in the cold dark atmosphere. This process dumps massive snowfalls which become ice sheets on land, starting a new ice age and bringing the extinction of many species.

It is lethal global cooling we need to fear, not life-sustaining global warming.

  1. ’tis a bitter pill to swallow but I fear many will be choking on the acceptance of global cooling! in the years ahead.
God bless those who are prepared.

My biggest fear is being able to maintain a line of communication if or when anarchy raises it’s ugly head

  2. The poorest and most neglected today reside in the tropics and sub-tropics of Asia and Africa. There are billions of them and several have nuclear arms.

Will we see another attempt at colonization if the ice sheets return or will these populations remember the disaster of previous European incursions and be better prepared to fight ?

Arms dealers and foolish governments have ensured significant numbers are well armed these days.

Where will displaced “white” races go if there is a return to glaciation ?

    • Here is a poem for you. It will help answer your question:

That the Saxon began to hate.
      by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

      They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
      No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

      It was not suddently bred.
      It will not swiftly abate.
      Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date

    • horrible suspicion good ol aus is going to be on the go to list for many displaceds as it iss for others now;-(
they can have the ities and the cold
reckon the smarter n better able of us will go inland even though thats not optimal
might be cold n dry but we do have artesian warm waters we can tap.
the tropic n subtropical pops will be the best placed to survive really, dont see them s a problem more the nthn eu n others..and the kiwis;-) as usual;-) lol

  3. I’m not sure “warmth is no worry” is entirely accurate – I know 40°C is not pleasant in full Sun and I wouldn’t like to experience it without shelter for too long either.

Cold is a real killer though – ask Scott – if they’d survived.

    • Just remember, warmth moves the upper limit of comfort towards the poles, People still will be able to move to cooler climates should it warm a few degrees.

As for all those people in the tropics, the poor survive because of grain crops grown where the cold will no longer allow them to grow, should it come. With or without nuclear weapons doesn’t matter. You starve from lack of food, you die of hypothermia from the lack of cheap warmth.

As for the “white races,” they are no different than the other color races – they starve without food and they freeze without warmth. Regardless of the intent to divide us by color, there is only one “race,” and divisiveness is something we need to start considering to be “subhuman.” there may be differences in abilities and talents between people, but we all belong to the same “race.” and that “race” starts at birth and ends at death for everyone.

There is nothing wrong with diversity, there is everything wrong with differentiation via whatever rules you choose for the purpose of divisiveness.

  4. Intact Mammoths found still entombed in ice completely dispels the lies that global warming killed them… Long Term Cold Climes inhibits rainfall which contributes to aridity and desertification – which, when Warm Temps return, are barely habitable… Rain Forests are warm, rainy, lush and overflowing with Life… Historical Life Extinction Events associate with Abrupt Cold Climate Events… As far as the last Glaciation Period? For starters, ALL of Canada was completely covered in very thick ICE! … https://iceagenow.info/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Extent_of_Glaciation_in_North_America.png

  5. When the new cold era starts with vengeance no western nation will be ready. All our virtue signalling politicians will just pull the plausible deniability card, pointing at the consensus of science and the foolish ‘climate scientists™’.
The blame game will however be all to no avail as vast numbers of animals and people will die their preventable deaths. Preventable because it is well known that we are toward the end of an inter-glacial period, thus it is not how warm will it get but when will the next ice-age start. Where is the hard science, and the communication of that science showing the next ice-age’s most probable timing?

Where are the preparations, the mitigation measures, the stored goods, fuels, medicines, etc., where is the leadership(?) — certainly not with the Western governments or the UN. They’re all to busy hyping up the smallest warm weather event while downplaying the cold periods, and ensuring expensive but worthless solar and wind farms will be foolishly built.
The future will be cold and dark, the future will be Medieval.

  6. Spot on. I am afraid however that Ice Age thematics do not allow one to construct carbon taxing cap and trade credit schemes that the deciders can pull out of thin air and enrich their bank accounts IMHO. It is a shame that all that graft is going to line pockets and should instead be going to mitigating the effects of the coming cooling cycle.

  7. If we had two massive eruptions like in 536-540, Taqmbora 1815 or like in around 950 AS in Korea, how long would it disrupt international air travel for?

We have assumed so much stability.

An 1859 Carrington event with massives EMP from the sun’s coronal discharges hitting the earth cross a whole week, would bring maybe a good portion of the world backwards 100+ years as well.
