  1. Forecasts are for an unseasonably strong Pacific storm coming on shore next week, which should get the Western snow season off to a good start.

  2. I live in Vancouver, Washington. A Cold Wet system in moving in from the Pacific on Saturday and will dump rain and snow for (6) days.

It stopped snowing on Mt. Rainier in July and started again in September. It has also snowed on Mt Adams which is further south and we have had rain mixed with snow on Mt Hood.

This system is colder than the one we had last week. Nisqually Glacier broke off a huge ridge on Mt. Rainier and caused the largest rock slide in living memory. The huge upper part of the glacier took out the ridge like it was a row of tooth picks. The Ice Age Began last year. Al Gore, run, a glacier is chasing you and wants to bite you in the you know where

  3. I’m going to stick my neck out and say that we have a better than even chance of a “Deja Vu all over again” of the 1962 Columbus Day Storm. Watch out people!
