Winter storm warning for parts of KS, WY and NE

As of last evening, 4 to 5 inches of snow have already fallen between the Highway 36 and Highway 34 corridors. Slideoffs have already occurred as the slush freezes. Be prepared for visibility under a mile in the falling snow.

7 Nov 18 – …WINTER STORM WARNING UNTIL NOON THURSDAY…

Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

In Kansas, Cheyenne and Rawlins Counties.
In Colorado, Yuma County County.
In Nebraska, Dundy and Hitchcock Counties.

Wintry weather remains on track to impact the entire area tonight through Thursday. Additional snowfall amounts ranging from an inch to five inches are expected.

Yuma County-Cheyenne-Rawlins-Dundy-Hitchcock-
Including the cities of Yuma, Wray, St. Francis, Bird City,
Atwood, Benkelman, Culbertson, Trenton, Stratton Ne, and Palisade.

  1. Robert, I believe the corrrct abbreviation for Nebraska is NE (since 1969). New Brunswick is abbreviated NB.

  2. I believe the abbreviation for Nebraska is NE while NB is New Brunswick. Seems as if Nebraska should be NB doesn’t it?
