Winter weather advisory for Cascades

This seems seems to be the winter that never ends, says KING 5 News.

16 May 2017 – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Washington Cascades until this evening, with accumulating snow as low as Snoqualmie Pass.

“While it’s not unusual to see May snow in the Cascades, it is somewhat rare to see accumulating snow this low this late in the year. The  Cascade passes could see 1-4 inches of slushy snowfall. Above 4,500 feet, the totals will be closer to 6-12 inches.

  1. How long does it take to accumulate 5000 feet of ice over downtown Seattle? Maybe this is the start!
