Wisconsin – Last remnant from April blizzard has finally melted

9 July 2018 – The final remnants of the April blizzard that dropped over 20 inches of snow on Appleton, Wisconsin, has finally melted.

The snow was originally dumped inside an Appleton parking ramp after workers removed excess snow from snow banks along city streets.

  1. All depends on how much, where it is dumped, and what happens to it afterwards.
When I was a kid on summer break, we used to dig into a saw dust pile at a saw mill and get snow years old to throw at each other.
They did get a good pounding down there. We got less up here, but being on the bay, winds drifted it inconveniently.
