Some of the states affected: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia

Providence, RI – 11 to 17 inches by Tuesday night

Boston, MA – 13 to 16 inches by Tuesday night

Bennington, VT – 6 to 12 inches

Islip, NY – 5 to 9 inches by Tuesday night

Concord, NH – 1- 8 inches by Tuesday night

Portland, ME – 7 to 12 inches by Tuesday night

Eastern CT – Another 6 to 9 inches by Tuesday night

Blacksburg, VA – 3 to 5 inches possible

Roanoke, VA – 2 to 4 inches possible

Lexington, KY around 3 inches

Lansing, NC 1 to 2 inches possible

North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia

“New York could see 4-6 inches of snow,” says Philadelphia could see a few inches, West Virginia could see eight inches. Meanwhile, thousands of Northeast residents remain without power after  are still Wednesday’s storm.

  1. And soon more in California, the snow line is moving progressively South out East as we move towards winter, er, spring.

  2. The California snow and cold are only in the Sierras, of course. Although I think there’s s’posed to be a La Nina cooling things down, we sure haven’t felt it. Warmest, most moderate winter. I’m in Central Coast CA. Another day in paradise, as we say. Even the drought is ending.

  3. These Nor-Easters sound so bad I fear there is only 1 solution:-
    Cancel Easter and have 2 Xmases a year LOL

    Well if I showed you a photo of right now and asked you to guess the season you would tell me about Santa, reindeer and elves with jingly bells not cute chicks, bunnies and lambs ha ha.
